IPv4 is the shortcut name of Internet Protocol Version 4 is the fourth revision in the development of the Internet Protocol (IP) and it is the first version of the protocol to be widely deployed. Just recently in 28th of January, CodeIgniter had released new elegant version 2.0 that most of PHP developers are waiting.

Let's introduce CodeIgniter to our Khmer Community, it's a PHP framework called CodeIgniter, it's a small footprint framework that do much more than it is. The performance of its process is fast, easy to start to develop, development code using MVC (model, view, controller) with OOP concept. A framework with well documented for developers.

What's new in CodeIgniter 2.0?

Many changes, features are made in this release and in summarize, they are:

• CodeIgniter 2.0 is built using PHP5! (No more PHP4)
• Application Packages (You can make your application in module as here managed in different folder)
• Drivers (new type of library added)
• New Javascript Library
• Plugins (No more plugin folder ~ it's remove because you can use library concept for that)
• Code Hosting Moved (to bitbucket - Version control system, Mercurial - good bye SVN)
